Don't you think that the mini-grip and the rat-2 are too small ?

Rat 2 too small ??
For me Rat 1 is too small, a bit
And I wear gloves sized L or some times even M ...

I have small hands for a man, yet I still think the Rat-2 and the mini-grip handles are too small for me. The pinky is barely fitting on the handles. How do people with average to big hands feel about them ?
I have average sized hands and I think they are too small! But that is why they make the larger versions....

I actually went the other way of most people here. I started out with smaller knives like the mini grip/chapparal/Rat2 and then moved to larger blades out of preference. However, that is all it is...preference. I tend to like the action afforded by larger, heavier blades and I usually carry a SAK for smaller cutting tasks or for the times when i dont want to scare the knife muggles. With that said, the mini grip would handle all the cutting tasks I face day to day just fine. I dont put my knife through doors for a living and i dont need to cut down a sapling with my folding knife.

I find the mini Grip to be awkwardly small. Personally, I think the full sized Griptilian is the perfect size for an edc.

I would rather have a knife that was designed to be small from the start, But in general, I think the Rat-1 is a good size for EDC.

I've never tried either one those. IF they are the same size as a Buck 112, (which I do have, in addition to my 110's) then they would probably feel a little ..." cramped" ... to me, like the Buck 112 does.

I think I wear a size "Medium/Large" glove.

I have always used 3.5 -4.0 inch blades. And I like 5 inch handles , even on 3.5 inch blades.
But recently I started carrying a Holdout 3 (3 inch slicy flat ground blade) loose in my pocket in addition to my regular edc clipped IWB. I m finding I can use that Holdout for a lot of things with its 4 inch handle. I ve been surprised. Why I tried carrying a second knife, I m not sure. I do have a few 3 inch blades , including a mini Ritter Grip, that I bought for carry when I was dressed up. But that doesnt happen very often anymore.
Maybe I ll try to use the mini Ritter, but it s not as small for pocket carry as the Holdout.
