Dope

May I ask what makes the crusader better to you? Just speculating here.

Congrats. It's always a great day when you get a hold of the 'one and only' blade.

Enjoy and beat the snot out of it.

I know what you mean. My tastes have actually changed quite a bit. The whole reason I passed on the TGC offering in the first place was that I looked at it and and thought,... Well I already have a TGLB which I love, and this thing looks basically the same with a few clips here and there... so I didn't bother buying one.

It's actually quite hard to describe the shift in my tastes but, and this is going to sound a little strange, I think The Walking Dead actually had a strong influence.... Also I read (or should I say listen) to quite a lot of Apocalypse type survival books. I 'lap-up' any of those type of movies or shows - Fear the Walking Dead, The Strain, Helix, World War Z, 28 days, the list goes on and on. That genre has been my preferred subject matter for a few years now and has really shaped my tastes in Blades. The last NMFBM I ordered from the Custom shop I got with full seated spine.... for the same reason I now love the extra pointy bits on the TGC. For me its about a design utilising every opportunity cause damage, be nasty be badass and at the same time have great ergonomics, handling and geometry. The TGLB if full of lost opportunities and the TGC puts that right. I recently saw a shot of an Argon Assault with Full serrated Spine.... Now theres a knife taking full advantage of every opportunity!

This is the exact part of that knife that turns me away from it. Great score brother! Amazing how we all have differences.

I also love Zombie/Survival type movies.

As you like that genre, check out the Black Tide Rising series by John Ringo. Great stuff! http://www.johnringo.net/TheLibrary/BlackTideRising.aspx

One of the protoganists is quite good with a khukri....

I've got a new double cut Crusader arriving to me tomorrow! So freaking excited....
