double action 110 or 112 buck's

You might want to ask this in the Automatic Forum. I can't remember the name of the company that modifies the 110's into autos, but it isn't Buck.

Try rayjayknives. The 110`s are SA now,but DA is the way of the future.

Ghost,

The CMKT DA Buck conversions have been out for a while now. RayJay and ABC Direct both list them. Danny R. has one for auction on the BF auction (but his picture is of the SA). I think the release button works on the spring instead of the blade, which is how the Colt M16 works. A clamp on thumb stud is included with the CMKT DA conversion.

Callsombody,

Another source of the Buck conversions is Cumberland Mountain Knife and Tool. Their phone number, from an old thread either here or the auto forum, is 615-735-2805. Per the old thread, talk to Rick.

We got 'em!

The thumb stud is removeable. Its one of the clamp-on type. I think they kind of ruin the lines of the 110, but they are very practical.

No,this is the 110 that Buck should have made.A caveat;fat thumbs have trouble with this buttom.

I agree with Ghost - Its the 110 that Buck should have made, however I can certainly see where Buck would want to stay out of this legally touchy area. All of the auto conversions are done by second parties. CMKT seems to be the most popular. There is at least one other company that is doing coil spring conversions. One other bit of info is that CMKT also has some "high end" 110/112 conversions that you don't normally see advertized. I have one of their stag 110 conversions and have heard of damascus, bone, and other variants.

I sent a jpg of a stag, file worked auto 110 to Joe,if he can figure out how to post it.I haven`t learned how.

Well, i guess you all will just have to take my word for it. The knife looks really neat. But I don't have a clue how to post the pic from Mr. Ghost.

Ghost or Joe, if you e-mail the pic, I'd be happy to post it for you.
