Was the filework on yours done by CMKT or by one of the customizers like Frank Recupero? It looks great.
I've been toying with the idea of getting one of the DA's and having someone (probably Recupero) apply new scales and a matching cover for the button to stealth the auto function. I think checkering on a dark plain hardwood would do the trick.

Ray Jay sent the knife back to Cumberland to have it done for me.This will be the last for a while.The artist does not do many, and Cumberland is having some trouble getting the silver bolsters from Buck.A new run would be 10,000?A lot to use up.Hopefully,Buck will decide to make some stag scales that will require the silver bolsters.
