I recently aquired an old double bit axe. It has "Made in sweden" Engraved in on one side and has the weight on the other side as 3.5 pounds. Sorry for the bad picture quality.

Im not sure of the maker as it has no maker mark only where it was made and weight.
Any input would be appreciated.

Hi there Zakkmann, nice old ax, I have no idea who made it but thought i'd give your post a bump. I'm also in the boonies of the great white north. Hope someone can help you out on a maker. A couple of clear pics would be helpful if possible.

Best regards

Robin

Thanks pipeman, Yeah, I only have a cell phone to take pictures and when you get in close to get a good pic it looses focus. It has the reminants of some red paint but im not sure if its original, it looks hand forged. Im not sure why it doesnt have a maker. Maby it had a label that was worn or taken off in the past, but who knows.
