Double Cut Camp Tramp...What's it Worth

Rob,
Are you sure that you are thinking of the DC Camp Tramp. IIRC, we never publicly offered a DC CT, we did offer a Satin Battle Rat and there are a few DC Ratweilers floating around but I don't recall offering a DC CT.

Of course I could easily be wrong on this.

Either way it is a great grab by Tolly

I think you're right and I'm thinking of the Satin BR. I may have seen the DC Tramp in a thread after someone scooped one.

I know they were never offered, but one would pop up every now and then, years ago.

Very rare in any event and a nice snag by Tolly.

Believe it or not I sold the DC Camp Tramp This morning to another board member. I wasn't my intent to sell it right away but he made me too good of an offer and I didn't feel like I could pass it up. I did take a couple of pictures of it for insurance purposes though, so I will see if I can post them up in a day or so.

Sorry guys, I just got back in town this morning. I will try to post pictures today or tomorrow. I figured the forum member who bought it would have posted pics by now. Hmmmmmm

Tolly, I'd love to see pics too; but as a big fan/collector of the 1911, I hope you got some of them with the CT:D

I like it when you get a good deal without ripping off the other person. It sunds like you got a good but fair deal on the CT. I hope you use some of your profit to get a nice user like a Scrapyard Dogfather or Mutt or even a mojo. If a collection is an expression of your personality it sounds like the previous owner was a heck of a guy. Now about those pics? and don't forgeyt the Long Colt.

I didn't take any pictures of the Camp Tramp laying along side any of the 1911s, sorry. If you would like to see some 1911 pics just tell me what you want to see, I probably have it.

That's OK, I wasn't looking for anything specific. I just enjoy any gratuitous 1911 photos, and thought this was a good excuse for you to post some.
