Double Cut Crusader, or Competition Finish TGLB??

Hey guys, I've got a double cut Crusader coming to me I got on trade. It's brand new, but did have a mirrored polished edge put on it. I saw a new competition finish TGLB for sale, so thought I'd offer him a trade with the Crusader. Your input will not determine my decision, I'm just curious to hear which you would choose and why?

I have the tglb but have always liked the crusader version. It wasn't out at the time I bought my tglb though. If it were me, I would probably keep the crusader and get a regular tglb later lol. All up to personal preference though, you can't go wrong with either one.
 
A few months ago I would say the TGLB as I thought it was the best Team Gemini design but something about the heft of a pure full tang slab of steel just gets me going...Crusader for sure.
 
Well that in an interesting decision. The Crusader by far is more scarce and they do pop onto the sales forum but not very often. I would have to go for the Crusader. I got one and its just a variation of the Team Gemini but its unique. Great knife. Now thats just me personally and it all depends on your tastes. If its the knives in those pictures, I would certainly have a hard time choosing to be completely honest.
 
First world problem for sure lol, they are both very beautiful. Good luck on your disision. However you know deep down you will regret your decision and end up with both.;)
 
Strict comparison of double cut vs. competition finish is CF for me, hands down.

Comp tglb. Cuz light brigade treatment. You bring all the cool infi to Minnesota Tyler. You still have that skinny swedged satin RMD?
 
I imagine I'd pick the TGLB, and I keep having that itch that I need to lay my hands on one, but I haven't had any TGs yet.

One thing is for sure though, if I had a Crusader inbound, I'd certainly wait to handle it it before I decided whether or not to trade! :eek:
 
What's the approximate value of each? I know it varies, and tends to be pretty subjective...I would think around 700ish? I've got nice sheaths for both as well.

The Crusader is awesome and indestructible and is better looking imo. Lots of people love the L.B. treatment, but personally hollow ground sabers seem like a contradiction in design philosophy and skeletonize tangs usually seem to throw the balance off for my tastes (though I do not own a L.B. version for full disclosure). I do own a crusader though and love it.

FYI Rob I am jealous of your matching crusader and mojo
 
I would take comp finish over double cut on a user. prefer tg over tglb over crusader

TGLB for me. The meltdown treatment on the guards makes them way more comfortable to me.
