I did not taper the tang on this one but it has been skeletonized for balance. It is slightly heavy to the handle.

Forged from 3/16 inch 52100
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with three normalizing and two tempering cycles for a fine grain thoughout the blade
Hollow grind with a mat finish
Micarta handle sanded to 120 grit for grip
Overall lenght: 10 1/2 inches
Blade:n 7 1/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop

Very nice, if you ever decide to do a symmetrical wasp style dagger of 4 - 5 inches with handle to match I would be all over it.
