Made by the french maker Jean Paul Sire, it's basicly a kiridashi with a 2" double edged blade. OAL about 5". Don't know what the steel is, the wood is birch burl. J.P. Sire does very clean work and this one is no exception. Comes with a snakeskin sheath. Never used or carried.
