Just finished this one up and thought I would share.
JP Kraiken with a classic cotton Hartsfield style wrap. It is epoxy soaked with G/flex epoxy and is rock solid. This particular one is double ground. It is ground to a near zero edge and then small micro bevel is ground in for durability and ease of sharpening. It is of course made of CPM 3V with my high performance HT.

The sheath is kevlar lined and has some really nice Elephant hide wrapping it up.

Thanks for looking!

Dear lord that is wonderful

I don't usually curse on here but Fuck that is nice .....proud to have my name associated with it buddy

Yeah.....what Joe said!

I have MUCH WANT for a double-ground piece from you.....like that one!!!!!!!;)

Thanks so much fellas. Really couldn't happier with where these are at now. Getting them sharper then ever. Happy to be a part of the Hartsfield style revolution.

Another one I finished recently. Short version of my Dokusei kwaiken.

I really enjoy these style blades and Joe's ever helpful thoughts on them has also made me appreciate them as impressive utilitarian pieces, too. The second one you posted up for some reason got me thinking... I'm not often a fan of different coatings, but have you thought about doing any kind of darker blade finish on some of your knives? Part of me has a big desire to see a "sinister" dark blade along with that really cool handle material you have going on there. I don't know how some of those stainless steels etch (or don't?) but thought I'd throw it out there. Thanks for posting up your stuff :).

Love the "short" Dokusei Tanto, Ben. Something about your profile on these .....

Hey Ben,

The Kraiken arrived today. It's even better in person. Thanks for makeing such as awesome product at a reasonable price.

I have done some acid washed 3V blades in the past. So it's possible. The Hartsfield style sheath is best with a machine finish though, there was a method to Phill's "madness".

That short version kwaiken still available

Sorry, it was an order. My books are open though.

So glad you like it! Thanks again for the support!

To everyone else, thanks for the kind words. These are the types of knives I enjoy making most of all. So glad they are being well received so I can keep making them!
