The Harry Archer Chute Knife design is very cool.

Now don't go saying a knife design is cool with out putting a pic or a link to it

As I mentioned above, I have a patern for a chute knife that I can make with or without bolsters. After handling many of the fighters at the past two shows I would like create a patern for one that uses an actual one piece guard. I would like to do one in the style of Shuyler Lovestrand or Herman Schnieder, with the guard attaching from the blade side, I think you know what I mean!
Then taper the tang up to where it meets the guard. If I have time today I might search your site for ideas and contact Dogman about the chute knife he has or had for sale.
