I've attempted one other double grind and it went horribly wrong. That was a while back and I had a customer wanting a boot knife of his design so I tried it again. The top one is cpm-154 ground on a 14" wheel and is about 7.5 inches long on tip to where shoulders will be filed in. I didnt want to grind the stick tang and file the shoulders so I ground the blade first
The other knife is his design and ground on an 8" wheel. I've got a small wiggle on the small blade I'll work on on higher grits after heat treat, and the top grind went down further than I wanted but I can clean that up when I grind the flats. I've still got to profile the rest of the small knife. Let me know what you think.
