Never understood how you single-luggers even got out of the bed in the morning.

The single lug is press-fitted into the blade and has a small hole in it that the second lug is then press-fitted into. It costs about $38 to have a Seb retro-fitted with double lugs at CRK. I've always tried to find them around the net with double lugs installed at birth. Personally, I've never monkied around with the lugs, but I'm sure you could customize them with aftermarket thumbstuds, as long as they fit adequately. Life is too short to worry too much about messing up when self-customizing your most personal of tools, so I say go for it!
