Double Waki scabbard ideas?

I got two matching Waki's and would like to get ideas for a double scabbard. Like Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Deadpool from X-men.

It should be fairly easy to rig a little bracket to connect two kydex sheaths together. I bet David Brown could whip something up right quick.

The really interesting bracket in the Waki world is on the butt...what it is? Who knows, but not knowing makes it all the more interesting!!

I imagine the edge should be outwards also? I'd love to see what Dave comes up with, as I think kydex would do the job best.
