I came home today and looked in the mail and viola there it was!!! Of course I had to open my package and felt like a 6 year old on Christmas morning. The first thing I noticed when I took the beast in my hand was that it felt different. In deed upon closer examination I noticed and confirmed with my micrometer that the scales are wider than the normal becker. I have a BK2 and 7 to compare it to and thought initially that it was wider than the 7 and probably the same as the 2 but it's actually wider than both. It also seems to be finished a bit differently almost like it has been sand blasted. It feels quite stout, I think in part because of the weighted screws it feels heavier than my 7.
I recieved # 75. I'm interested in how many they made and will they make more. So far I'm impressed but regret that if they don't make more I may have to put this one away, so that one day I can pass it on to my nephew. Anyway it's a great looking knife and I wish I could go out in the back yard and try it out!

Sorry I'm ignorant when it comes to all this technology. You can see the exact knife on Dougs website. I wish I could say mine is special, I guess it is because it's mine, mine I tell you mine!!! Sorry I started to sound like the gulls in looking for Nemo.

I saw the ones there. We wanna see yours! We want pics, we want pics....the mob is getting restless.

Mine's here. I'm stunned by it.
Doug and Ethan knocked this one out of the park.
I may be getting another one.

It's pouring rain here, so outdoor glamour shots will have to wait.
Only way I could get any kind of natural light was to open my backdoor and take a couple of shots on the floor.
Keep in mind that these shots are still flash shots, a fact which changes the colors somewhat.
In hand, the blade coating is a darker slate gray.

Thanks Guyon. Is the handle still made of grivory? What's the blade length?

It's kind of a mix between the BK7/9, and the BK2. The thumb ramp and heel, or Ricasso of the 7/9, and the blade shape of the 2, extended a bit.

Those look pretty sweet. Why haven't they been stripped and patina'd, had the thumb ramp ground off, and the handles stippled yet?
