Douk-Douk knife

I have been meaning to add a Douk - Douk to my collection but haven't yet. I will now. I wasn't aware of the different options. That hawk turned out very nice. I am glad I got to see it this morning when we met for breakfast. Robin did a great job. It was very nice meeting him and learning more about the knives and his family history, in spite of the language barrier. Keep up the good work Robin. Lin, thanks for the introduction and the chance to meet Robin.

Have you thought about making a pocket slip you can use to pad the handle?

I have the Squirrel, like it a lot

No, I don't have anything like that though it would help a lot I'm sure. Like CL said, the thinness is what makes it disappear in your pocket and I wouldn't want to give that up for the rare occasion that I need to really dig into something. If necessary I could always fold a bandanna around it, I always seem to have one of those handy.

BTW, nice job on that hawk young man!

Well that's interesting, never saw anything like that before. Thanks JB and davek14!

If you do a Google image search on Higonokami sheath (or similar), you'll get to see a few different ones

Very cool. What is the handle materials on the white one? Great to see some of the other options of Douk - Douk. Thanks for sharing them.
