I just got a reminder card in the mail from Koval Knives regarding the 12th Annual Invitational Knife Expo.

It's this weekend at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds in Dover Ohio.

Is anyone planning to go to this?

I'd also like to find out if it's worth going or if you've been to it before what your thoughts are.

I'll have to shuffle my schedule around to make it on Saturday and it's quite a hike for me to get there so I'd like to feel sure that it's worth while.

If anyone is going let me know and we can try to hook up.

BTW, admission if free too :D

I'm fairly new to Ohio and live in the Cleveland Area. Where is Dover? Is this show open to the public?

Just started picking up good knives for general use. I haven't been to a show in years and wanted to see what they've got these days.

Welcome to Cleveland and Bladeforums! You've probably found that this area (cleve) is pretty dry when it comes to knives.

I live just outside Cleveland on the East side near Six Flags and Sea World. We're about 20 minutes out of downtown with light traffic.

Dover is about 1.5 hours South on Rt. 77.

www.Mapquest.com will give you driving locations from your address to Dover. Not sure of the address at the fairgrounds but you may be able to just type "Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds" and it may get you there.

The hours of the show are 9-4 Saturday and 9-3 Sunday.

Let me know if you're going, I'd like to meet up with other BF'ers if I do get to go.

Good luck!

I will be setting up at the Dover show this weekend. It is not widely published but it is great little show. All knives,no guns. The WRCA also hosts a banquet on saturday night. It's worth the trip just for dinner!Door prizes are also awarded at the banquet.
There is also a lot to see in that area.Wharther's Train museum,Amish restaurants, wine and cheese outlets an beautiful scenery.

Hey Mickey, I'd love to stop by your booth since I'm a Valley native. Graduated from Boardman and YSU. What should I look for if I come?

What do you sell? (e.g custom maker, supplies, knives etc..)

If you have a shop or stock inventory I'd like to get your info some time, since my parents live in Lake Milton I'm in that area a lot.

cpirtle,
I will have an assortment of camping, hunting, self defense and hideout blades. It is a great time .Look me up.
