First up,the Menefee,"modified pruner blade profile" hafted in root beer jig bone (not hand jigged).This knife has a perfect medium & snappy action. Top notch fit & finish. Mill relieved ss liners,spun ss domed pins,pinched ss bolsters. 154 CM ss blade is hollow ground,has a machine satin finish & perfect swedges.Dimensions,3-1/4" closed,5-7/8" opened up,with a 2.5" blade,tip to bolster.This is razor sharp,2-1/4" cutting edge.Un used,was a safe queen,only handled.Pre owned excellent plus condition.$390. The Dowell is a larger 3-3/4" closed knife. This is ATS-34 blade & spring.Hollow ground & crazy sharp with a machine satin finish.Opened up it is 6-5/8",the blade is 2-7/8" measured tip to bolsters,and a 2.5" cutting edge,perfect swedges. SS liners &pins.Perfectly matched ,gorgous mammoth ivory scales,fluted & rounded ss bolster has a satin finish.This knife has been carried possibly one or two days,cut nothing.It has a minute scratch on the bolster,but almost un noticeable,I cannott capture it in my pics.Pre owned excellent shape with perfect mechanics,f&f & grind ,medium firm pull.
