I had this landlord who lived above me, she had a garden in the back yard. One day I come out and I see her digging with a Ka-Bar, like digging out roots and whatnot. I said how I liked her garden tool and she remarked it had been her grandfather's. Not what I would choose for gardening work but hey.
Haha, I should do that. I take it that they're able to be grown in NC, considering the name.
1 evening in Boy Scouts learning knife safety, and I've never forgotten it.
*Sigh* it's "knives".Or just fence in the garden or shroud it a bit I guess. I would keep the knifes in a drawer or cabinet when guests visit.
There is a reason for "keep out of reach of children [and irresponsible adults....]"![]()
nice,I was also a Scout, what a great experience it was. There was a badge that you could get for knife safety and you couldn't use a knife when the troop went camping until you got that badge witch was sitting down with a leader explaining all about the knife with is meant for and what its not meant for ect ect even some demoing of proper use. Even then there were rules up at camp like no whiting except by the fire pit.
