Just got this one in from our friend oupa in the land down under. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Ray Cover, Sr. slipjoint with beautiful jigged bone, D2 steel blade, stainless bolsters, and dark red liners, which look just right on this one.

It's in the pocket. :)

Beautiful knife, Ford. You know, you have another career waiting what with the quality of your images. Great stuff!!!

A great score. The best I remember, this one lasted about 15 minutes on the exchange! Rightfully so.

I have been holding out for a D2 Ray Cover as my first one. After missing this one, I just went on-line and found a nice jigged bone ATS-34 Cover. Now I'll be okay until that D2 comes along. :D

Thanks for sharing. Ray makes a great slipjoint! Mine came today, too.

Thank you so much for the positive comments, fellas. I really enjoy shooting these photos, and hope you guys like to view them as well.

canineforge, please share your new Ray Cover here if you have a chance. What size and blade style did you get? Did you get a slipjoint or a lockback?

Well, as you can see, I was typing while Joe was posting. :o

Very fine folder there canine. I admired that one also on the website. Good choice, and congratulations on your 1st Ray Cover, Sr. I bought two of them in one week, and one of them slipped off to the Blues Ridge. :)

Thanks. I am looking forward to my second!

Guilty as charged! (Such is the price of friendship. ;)  )

Joe, that's a great knife as well. Haven't seen one yet that didn't catch the eye.

Here's the one that "slipped off to the Blues Ridge":

OOoooooooooh! That's a purdy one.

Fewpop, I think your Cover made a stop in Alabama before taking a trip down under.

The bone on your knife is super nice IMHO. I hope you don't mind a shot of the back and a top view of the dovetailed bolsters. Larry

COVERing The Globe...

Too cool. That is one special knife.

Wow! This knife just gets better all the time. It's really nice to have one with such a goodguy Bladeforum legacy. Thank you guys for sharing the history, and Larry, I appreciate you showing your fine photos here. Ray's dovetailed bolsters really accentuate his overall superb fit & finish, and the color in the jigged bone is damn near mystic.

I'm lucky I snagged it when I did. :)
