Are you driving down to the show or flying. If driving there is a good chance Smokey Mt Knife works will be on the way. If coming down I81,I75 and I40 you will pass within 10 miles of my house.

We'll be be flying mate. If the flight path from Boston to Atlanta is over your place, we'll be closer :D
 
It would have been a nice drive down for you guys. See what the real US is away from the big cities. Well maybe depending on how the tropical storm comes up.
 
We drove north from NYC to Rochester via Boston and Connecticut and on another journey drove from Washington to Key West up to Atlanta and then down south through AL, MI, LA and across TX. Saw lots of the South and enjoyed it greatly.

Sounds like you got a view of how most of us live. For me going to a huge city is like a different country.
 
I hear you mate ! I live in the largest city here in Aus and hate the hell out of it. I grew up in the bush and though this year makes it 50/50 of my life split between the two I still MUCH prefer the country. That is part of my make up and I just don't tire of it.
