Well. This past weekend has been one of the most enjoyable I've had in a long time. A weekend full of fun with Busse knives, food and most importantly - awesome people.
It all began on Friday evening at around 9pm when Lawrie got in from Karratha. For those who don't know, Karratha to the Sunshine Coast is a LONG way. Look it up. That is dedication and a sign of a true HOG! Lawrie, I cannot thank you enough for making the trip and being a part of it all. You're a bloody legend mate! Knife talk began almost immediately and all the shiny sharp things came out for a sneak preview before Saturday. Then the beer started flowing and before we knew it, the small hours came around and reminded us of the day we had planned upon the morrow. So it was off to bed for a drunken sleep
Saturday morning came around and greeted me with a monster beer headache and a few minutes spent putting in a call to Bert on the porcelain telephone. After a spot of breakfast and a much needed vitamin B intake by way of berocca and vegemite toast, all was good.
Chris then arrived shortly before 11am lugging a great big bag of INFI. I swear I heard the tectonic plates creak under the pressure of the huge shift in the Earth's magnetic field. Amazing stuff! Awesome bloke.
Lawrie & Chris, I am forever grateful you could both come and be a part of the very first Downunder Razorbacks get together at my place. I am a very lucky man to have finally met you both in person and I now consider you both wonderful friends.
The day kicked off with delicious scones freshly baked by my lovely Karen. Smothered in jam and cream and applied with INFI, I'd have to say they were the most delicious scones I've ever had...

Lawrie prepping his yummy treat with an old school Basic 7...
Chris delicately slicing his scone with one of the most beautiful FBMs I've ever seen...
Me using the only scone knife I have...
