That 1311 was a real surprise for me. In fact, all the kin were. They have got to be the best value hard use knives on the market. I'd love to see the 1311 slightly thicker to see if it would improve it even more (maybe it'd need a flat grind then too). However, Rob's satin/black canvas MOAB was the real champion of the weekend. That knife is just a freak. I've got to get one.

The 1311 is such a great blade. So much bang for the buck... I should get a second. :D

Mate it was a great weekend. Those AMS knives are super cool. They carved that steak up beautifully when it was cooked.
 
Awesome vids and pics. The temp looks much more favorable for choppin in the woods than here in the Midwest...snow and all

I'm definitely not one to typically watch a 30 minute vid..but I enjoyed every moment of this one...thanks for letting us share in a wonderful day; you certainly know how to entertain :).

Thanks man! I did consider cutting the video down to a few minutes but it was all too good to not show. We had a such a lovely time and it would have been a waste to not share it with everyone. I hope this entices a few more people to come to the next one! :)

I might just pack a drunken Josh on a cargo plane next time just to see if he comes back.

I dropped him off in Kentucky once and when we went back to get him 1 month later.............. he had gone ferrell........No, seriously thought we were trying to capture a sasquatch!!!!
