Hello dear brothers,
With God's good will today i present you a new design into our portfolio - 'Doya' a razor sharp modern puukko.
The knife was build with the primary purpose of being a super wood whittler but perfectly ready for absolutely any other task.
High carbon, ultra clean Wolfram Special carbon steel hardened at 64 hrc was used - a steel that will impress you with it's capabilities, an impressive balance of high hardness, toughness and an ultra fine and resilient edge. Real Scandi zero grind (no micro bevel) on an 1/16" thin stock that cuts like crazy - a very slim blade that 'dances' through wood and feels light yet sturdy in hand.
The blade blanks and the scales are CNC cut for a very consistent outcome and all the other operations are fully handmade, one at a time to assure an excellent quality.
The basic models come with brown micarta scales, brass pivots and stainless steel screws.
Blade wears forge finish flats and satin bevel for a nice and long lasting look; the scales are super grippy and feel warm in hand.
Both knives come with a handmade thick Olive drab/two faces Orange+black CF Kydex sheath fit with a TekLok style belt buckle.
OAL - 8.25" Blade - 3.75"
The price for each Doya is - 175 usd (field ready kit (knife/sheath/TekLok style buckle) and shipping included)
P.S: Blades are identical, handle almost the same with a little difference on the ricasso part arch (we will decide which one to keep
).
All the best, God bless,
Bogdan
