These are the classic Loveless style hunter ala Bob Dozier, flawlessly reproduced by Boker and made in Germany by hand.
The CPM-D2 blade is 3 1/2" and polished like no other factory knife. D2 is tough to polish. It takes me forever to put a shine on a blade because D2 is just so darn tough! The other thing to strike me immediately is the tapered tang! That is not something you see every day. Simply amazing. The Stainless Steel guard is stunning and the natural Micarta is unlike any I’ve ever seen. It has a hint of brown, but is not like the dark brown you typically see. The scales are secured with stainless hardware and thong hole. If that were not enough, the entire handle is also lined, even at the guard. The overall length is 8"
Each knife is etched with a serial number on the top of the spine just aft of the guard.
