For many years, knives from the Dozier shop have been turned out by other hands under Bob’s oversight. See more on that here.

This is a sole-authorship hunter and sheath made completely by Bob himself and sold personally by Bob at the 2020 Las Vegas show for $1,000. I’m the second owner.

D2 drop-point blade, hand-rubbed to a near mirror finish, with rustic leather sheath. Blade is 4” long, guard-to-point; overall length 8 3/4“, thickness at spine/ricasso 3/16“. Hollow ground with a finely tapered tang for balance, strength and a nice heft in hand. Green linen micarta scales with Corby bolts. Mint condition with a very few light handling marks—appears unused, as described by the original owner when I bought it from him. Unused by me. The blade geometry is designed to cut like a laser, and of course, Bob’s D2 has a well-known reputation for holding an edge for a very long time.

Treat yourself to a rare classic hunter handmade by an American legend—this needs to go to someone who will use it for a lifetime and pass it down to his son or grandson. Yours for $1,000 OBO, shipped by insured Priority Mail within US, PayPal Friends and Family. USA sales only, no trades—thanks. All reasonable offers considered.

“Son, there are a lot of Doziers out there, but this one was made by the hand of The Man himself.”

Please excuse any visible streaks from silicon protectant on the blade. I use certified food-safe silicon on hunting knives, and it’s very hard to get those last streaks not to show on the highly polished blade.
