So as many of you here, Ive owned lots of Doziers and still own a few. Ive especially love the wilderness model but lately Ive found that a 4in blade gets alot done for me. So back in Oct in ordered a wilderness with a 4in blade and today it showed up.So I figured Id share my happiness......

But you won't share the pics... :( *tisk * tisk*

Kidding man. Great score. Never owned one but have had lots of "trigger time" with a friends K1. He's probably had it for 10 years. I keep telling him to leave it to me in his will instead of his kids :p.

Pics please!!! I love that model, and would love to see a 4in version! Sounds perfect!!

:eek:Wow Daniel, thats a very nice knife you got there.

D2 im assuming? Man, I just might have to put in an order for one of those this year. Great looking blade, and since its a Dozier, you know its quality.

Can't beat a Dozier. Got a wilderness on layaway. Can't wait to get it.

Congrats on the new Dozier.I got my first Dozier a month ago. YPS with sheep horn and a wilderness sheath.Love the sheath and knife.

Good stuff- congrats on the new Dozier! I can't keep my paws off my orange Pro Guide, they do some great work!

Nice blade... if you don't mind me asking, was it a lot more $$ to have it turned into a 4"?

I picked up a KM-3 Agent at Blade last year, what a great little knife, probably the sharpest knife I've ever purchased. I'm in the process of ordering a KS-1 Master Skinner and a 5" KS-7 Wilderness knife.

A question for those Dozier aficionados out there, I've been trying to figure out why the K-DP Drop Point Hunter is almost double the price of other models, it's shown as a micarta handle in D2, it basically looks like it's constucted the same as his other models (except for the hidden tang "classic" line), is there a story behind this? It's certainly a nice looking blade and would probably be my first choice if it wasn't for the price.

Beautiful, right before I left AR, I had the choice to go Krein or Dozier, I chose Krein and don't regret it. But I still have a yearning for some Dozier!

Great short wilderness. I like the KS 3 Pro guide (and had a go at making a copy that worked out OK) and I've been drooling over the Delta Traveller for a while now.

Mckrob
I believe that the K-DP has a tapered tang, maybe this adds to the price.

Beautiful knife! Dozier makes some awesome blades (and sheaths). I've had one of his Yukon Pro Skinners for well over 10 years. Incredible knife.

Congrats!

Never owned one but I've held a few, and it does seem to me that his designs do a great job bridgeing the gap between bushcraft blades and "tactical" knives.

Dozier rulz :D

I just upgraded the sheath for my ProGuide to the Wilderness style sheath.
That makes the set-up about perfect :D
