Dozier Knives ???

I just picked up these two, but I can already tell you the semi skinner will be one of my favorites.View attachment 2102076

I almost always have more than 1 knife when I hunt big game. A medium sized knife and something smaller.

I had a Yukon Pro Skinner, but I definitely prefer the Dozier models with a single finger groove. I use a Sweetwater and would like to pick up a Straight Hunter.

The lil deer skinner makes a great EDC, but I've been looking for a whittler to try out for a while now.
The logo on the fillet knife is the same as Dan Crotts put on a knife he made for me as a gift. He worked n the Dozier Springdale shop for 26 years and did make many of his own knives—still does, but doesn’t use that logo now. After Dozier opened the St Paul shop, Dan and a couple employees made all of the knives that came from the Arkansas Made Shop. Dan quit working for Dozier 2-3 years ago, after 26 years. Dan’s grinds are 2nd to none.

I messaged the guys at the Dozier shop a while back and here's what they said about it.Screenshot_20230317_115851_Messenger.jpg
I guess they all used this logo before the new one was created.
