Ed Van Hoy stag engraved Hunter.
Specs:
  • Polished ATS-34 steel hollow ground blade
  • Engraved bolster
  • Tapered tang
  • Well matched Stag slabs
  • Overall length: 7-1/4"
  • Blade length:3"
  • Leather pouch sheath w/ belt loop
This is a sweet little hunter with nice even grinds and high quality polishing of the blade.
Tanya, Ed's wife, did a great detailed job engraving the bolster. Tastefully done, imho, without too much foo foo. :)
I have owned the knife for about 5 years...

No use or carry, just fondled.

Umm, could be.

Took another look at it in hand, more of an oval on it's side.
Pretty much as photographed, but certainly each side has different design.

Engravers have different terms for patterns I ceratinly don't know the significance of this one. :)
