Dozier vs Rat2 - low cost edc folders

For what it is worth, I also have both. I still have both and I can't say that there is a difference other than looks. The steel is identical make and both are heat treated well.They get scary sharp and hold up longer than I use it most of the time...you're not wrong either way....Herb
 
If you're considering some others as well, I'll throw in a nomination for the Kershaw CQC-5K. It's not a flipper, but it does have a wave opening device (and thumb disc). The ergos on it are excellent as well.

The Kabar Dozier folding hunter line. Which are awesome knives for the price in my opinion. Love love love my Large.

I know people love the RATs also.

It may come down to lock preference, and I'm a lockback kinda guy.
