How many on here has any experience with Dozier's knives in D2?

I just realized that I probably put this in the wrong place. If it needs moving, moderator, move it. Now I am trying to figure out how Danelle's name got involved??

I've got two: a pro guide and a K1. Very nice work: they are the best cutting implements I own, and Bob and Linda are exceptionally nice, competent people.

You can't do better, especially for the money.

I have one, an Arkansas toothpick, and another... a straight personal on the way. I second what DaveB said, great cutting instruments and Linda and Bob are great.
I think the Danelle thing musta been subconscious though.;)

That very well may be true about the subconscious. I am supposed to be getting a Dozier Trapper II this next week. So far I agree on the comments about Bob and Linda.

First you unintentionally name your thread "Danelle" and now you're writing about nests?

I think your "Freudian Slip" is showing.
:D

Walt, when you go to post Your Reply: , look up above the box and you'll see tabs for B, I, U, SIZE, FONT, COLOR, and so forth. Instead of typing your word/s in the Your Reply box, click on a tab and a window will open for you to type in and then OK. It's as easy as clicking on the Smilies

OK, moving this to General....
Walt, don't sweat the "Danelle" slip.
I yelled out her name while waxing carrots the other day and my neighbor started calling my wife by that name.

Shifting Forums,
I remain,

(Sorry, can't change the subject.... don't think it's possible!)

I have never heard anything bad about Dozier made knives.
I am still wanting an Arkansas Toothpick. It will come in handy in Arkansas. I actually did not read this when I first saw it, I thought it was one of those "anyone heard from -----" threads. Good luck with your nesting.

Bob and Linda are great folks, and the knives are outstanding. Now can we talk about Danelle? :D

I'm going to try to use my superpowers to edit the thread title ... hey it worked this time! That's a relief ... I was afraid I might have to let that radioactive cockroach bite me again.

Great knives, great folks :)
I have 3 Doziers (Slim Outdoorsman, Personal Utility & Model 6) and I don't think that I'm done yet!

I have 2 of the folding hunters and the Agent fixed blade. They are outstanding and Bob and Linda are great people to work with. These knives cut like crazy and seem to do it forever. I'm trying to decide whether my next will be the Personal Utility or the Companion.

You can't go wrong.:) :)

Dozier is a MAN who makes an awesome knife. I have the extreme pleasure of owning one of his K-4s. It's a top quality hollow ground knife, and his D2 is sensational.

I've had a few of Mr. Dozier's knives; the workmanship is top-notch, and they do indeed cut great. D-2 is also one of my personal favorite steels. However, I have found that his handles do not fit my hand well; the Arkansas Toothpick I owned was too small, and I didn't like the contours of my Pro Guide all that much. The Pro Guide was a great-cutting knife, and very easy to keep sharp.

I ordered my first custom blade from Bob Dozier. Linda Dozier did a wonderful job of helping me with my design requirements and Bob did his usual outstanding job of implementing it. He even called me part way through the process to ask about how large my hands were. He wanted to make sure the grip had the right proportions; and it did!

You can't go wrong dealing with the Doziers and no one makes a better blade.

Well, I couldnt let this post go by without saying something.

I havent been around much at all, I too thought it was a "Where the hell is.." thread. Sheesh, I wonder how I can get this big head through the door sometimes.

Anyway, hi all...

Walt,
I have several of Bob's knives. Great knives, sharp as heck.
You can't go wrong getting a Dozier!!
