Dozier (was Danelle)

Thanks for all the replies. I am looking forward to receiving the folder. It will be an EDC and will get used.

I have a K1, one of my favorite little utility knives. I also have a "Master Hunter", which is a large-ish heavy and very specialized BIG GAME skinning/dressing knife made not only for a big animal, but also a big hand. A beautiful knife, but far to specialized for my use - I would just ruin it as a utility knife. I've kept it in NIB condition since I've had it, but can't seem to get rid of it. People see it and say "beautiful knife, but since I'm not skinning elephants, water buffalo, or Nile crocks, I can't use it either..."

I have had 6 Doziers over the past year and somehow ended up selling
them all. Five of them were folders and 1 a fixed blade. All of them have been outstanding knives from an outstanding maker. Bob knows his buisness! I still don't how I ended up getting rid of all 6 of them, but i did.

Now, I have no. 7 coming in!:D This will make the third Buckhunter I have owned and HOPE to keep this one. The BH is my favorite folder by Bob, although they are all great. At least the ones I've had. I also had the folding dagger, Trapper II, and a folding hunter. The Buckhunter seems to have all the desirable traits I want in a knife; 3.75" blade that is .187" thick and a nice clip point style. The handle is a great fit in my hand, and the lock up is fantastic. This is one on the tab-locks that has a locking bar that contacts the entire rear of the blade tang.

Again you can't go wrong with a Dozier........folding or fixed, they are a great knife!

My Dozier Buckhunter came in today and for the life of me I can't figure out why I sold the others I had! Again, Bob has produced a great knife. The fit and finish are great. The edge is a hair popper. The lockup is super secure with the liner coming over and covering the left edge of the blade tang. The high hollow grind on the blade makes for a super slicer. Everything about this knife is first rate. Thanks to Larry and Vince at Bladeart for hooking me up!:D Great guys to deal with.

Just hope I can hang on to this one! :)
