Anybody have one of these? Do you like yours? I got hold of one the other day. It seems like alot of knife to carry. Can't decide, whether, to keep it, or sell it. Any opinions?

I have the Pro Guide, which is a smaller version, and just about perfect for single knife carry. The Wilderness might be a little more robust, but most people (at least on the Dozier forums) seem to gravitate to the PG. Having said that, I wouldn't mind trying the Wilderness.

Ray, I've had one for a while. It's a great knife but if you have to think about keeping it, I'd say sell it. Should get a good price.

It is a general purpose outdoors knife. If you aren't planning on getting out there and roughing it for a while, it isn't the knife for the more specialized tasks his other, smaller knives excel at. I wouldn't take mine out without carrying my Dozier Canoe with it for the small stuff. :)

I really like mine, but Esav is right. If you're thinking about it this much, let it go. He has some smaller models available.

Hi,

Here are a Wilderness and ProGuide side-by-side (the stag handled blades)

I think I prefer the smaller blade of the ProGuide for typical chores around camp
