Doziers: Which to buy?

Thanks. That's one of the knives Bob & company took to the 2004 Blade Show -- fortunately for me it didn't sell at the show.

Good luck with the Dozier's, but congrat's on the retirement.
I, as of November, am retired myself, it's great. All of my knives are sharp now that I have time to keep them that way.

I have 4 Dozier's, so far! ;) The one that by far sees the most use on a daily basis is my straight personal. I also have a slim outdoorsman, an arkansas toothpick and a model-6. The latter two are more suited to being a self-defense type. The SP and SO are both fine game and outdoor knives. I like the SP best, it is simply a cutting machine.

Personal Utility

The Personal Ute is usually within arm's reach.
It disappers on my belt. I really like this knife ;)

Another thing to consider is that if you don't find the handle to your liking, I don't think you'll have a hard time selling it, so you could try another.

I'd vote for General Utility.

Congrats on retirement too!

All things considered - including the usual informed, helpful advice from my mates here - I've decided on the K1.

The only difficulty is finding one for sale :(

I may have to wait for June, when I hope to attend the Blade show in Atlanta.

Thanks everyone!

I'm sure you will like it. My Straight Personal is a favourite, but then I have small-medium sized hands.
My Dozier is still tied for first place in terms of sharpness.
