I had recently bought a dpx hest milspec folder and while cleaning it on my kitchen table I accidently knocked the pivot pin and screw off and down a nearby vent. Absolutely no way to get it back. After swearing profusely I sheepishly contacted DPX and fessed up to my lost parts. A nice lady named Linda contacted me shortly afterwards and said she'd look into pivot pins but to have a bit of patience since they weren't in stock. About a week went by and I was contacted again. Pins and screws were on the way and when they arrived theyd get one out to me. I offered to pay for the item and shipping, since it was my fault and not under warranty, but was declined. New pin and screw being sent first class mail compliments of Linda and DPX. That's GREAT customer service in my books! I live in Canada and don't know of any companies who would pay for international shipping never mind cover the cost of the replacement item too. In a world of crappy customer service its great to see a company that treats you like a person and not an order number. I love my DPX folders and now am a VERY loyal customer.
