The DPX HEST is a very well designed blade with exceptional ergonomics and a few extra features that'll come in handy in a pinch. It is a stout blade made of German D2 steel that is full flat ground to a great edge. This blade is built like a tank with no blade play in any direction.
The lock bar stabilizer can be turned to make it impossible to disengage the lockbar while in use, which is an extremely great feature. The pommel has a glass breaker, which can be removed if desired. Also, the jimping can be used to strip wires and the blade has Emerson Wave cutout on the spine so that the knife comes out of your pocket engaged. It can also be used as a bottle opener.
