Thought I'd share a great experience that I recently had with the good folks at DPX.
I recently got a limited edition HEST folder 2.0 (the mr. Skull graphic on the blade.) I couldn't find the skull tool for it (not sure if I'd received it that way as part of a trade or if I'd simply lost it.) I'd been EDC-ing a standard HEST/F as well so one skull tool for the two knives wasn't an issue. However, I recently decided to sell my EDC as I've been carrying a couple of other knives almost exclusively. As such I'd have to sell the skull tool with the original HEST/F.
I contacted the folks at DPX through their website at 8:40am on Friday. I got a response from Ann at DPX at ~12:30 that same day asking for my address. I responded immediately and gave her my information and offered to pay for the shipping/skull tool. I began to worry when I didn't get a response to my last email. I was planning on following up this afternoon after work. However, when I got home I'd received a padded envelope with the skull tool inside.
This is truly amazing service IMO. Start to finish this took a sum-total of a little over 3 days (78 hours, maybe). I am very impressed with the responsiveness, speed of delivery, and overall professionalism of DPX.
TL;DR I asked for a replacement skull tool on Friday and got it this afternoon (monday.) A big very thumbs up to DPX Gear.
