Dragon Knife Raffle.

Hey Bawanna Bawanna - I just realized that in transitioning over to this thread we lost the reason why this special knife is being sold.

AND - Could you tell us a story? 😉 What is the back story on the DRAGON KNIFE from Uncle Bill's personal collection? Any info on its history- make - material size etc.?

See - even as I was typing some inquiring mind was pursuing more info...

I'll let Yangdu provide the story. She may or may not remember all the materials etc but she'll for certain know the story.
I'll send her a message and have her give some details. I'll try to transfer over what info was in the original sale post.

Eight auspicious sing engrave one one side of blade
Twin dragon, full moon and cross flag engraved on other side of blade

This is the response I received from Yangdu.

"Uncle Bill had this Knife in his personal's collection for many years and I never ask about most of his Knives collections reason they were always put away in the special box.
Little I know about dragon and craftsman:
The craftsman from Vojpur were very talented and they can create beautiful Knife without the machine or fancy tools.
Dragon spiritually believed for wealth, health, prosperity and power influenced from China is very much believed Nepal people also."

Hey, I resemble that remark. That's why I was asking. Now I'll go figure out how to donate $50.

Yeah badly worded I must say :( Sorry ~ I wasn't thinking of folks like you who have been around for years and dedicated HI followers but rather those who have 1,000s of posts all over BF but especially HI. Don't want to tag anybody in particular - that could stir up some mind your own business vibes. Still, was hoping to get more eyes on this thread. It's a great opportunity to own a unique Khukri and help out some dear hard working people.

Thanks F fearn for jumping in.
