Dragonfly 2: FRN or G-10?

Agreed on the attributes of high vis. That zome green one I posted above was really cool, but I actually lost it this summer. I was on the way down from a somewhat strenuous 12 mile hike and stopped at an alpine lake to cool off. As I was kneeling there I heard a small "clink" sound. I turned around to search and saw nothing, then checked my pockets for all of my carry gear, but since the Dragonfly is so unobtrusive and goes so unnoticed clipped in the corner of my back pocket I didn't notice it was missing. I went back a few days later because I know exactly where it happened, but it was a lost cause. That was the inspiration for my brightly colored replacement above
Yeah, that sucks losing a $50 knife. I have a Zome Endura. It's nice.

Indeed. And since it was a H1 blade swap it made the sting that much worse, and made re-creating it just not worth it. Instead, I just went with the yellow H1 and did the fade dye job to make it to my liking.

I would suggest the frn. Light, affordable and comfy at the bottom of one's pocket.

I've got the old version with a plastic clip and aus-8 steel. Still love it! Cost $30 back then.

I watched a YouTube video last night by someone named SpydieGirl. She said she loved her G-10 Dragonfly 2. However, I think I just watched it because I wanted to go to sleep thinking about someone named "SpydieGirl." :D
SpydieGirl?
I've got to find that video...

SpydieChick...
I found her:
I like the fact that she's a Southpaw, and has a custom Griptilian in her arsenal.
Her review of the G10 Dragonfly seems to miss on an important feature: The steel liner...
But now that I found her: I'll keep an eye out for what her channel has going on.

She has a very relaxing voice. She also features some less common knives like the Kiwi and the Lava. Unfortunately, her posts are few and far between.

A "relaxing voice"...
I agree 137%!
I wonder if there's a way to let her know that we'd like to see more "Knife Talk"?

I carry a SE Dragonfly daily along with my primary folder to have the added utility of that SpyderEdge in pocket, and have swapped SE blades into various versions of the Dragonfly. I have the Pakkawood version with steel liners that I carry from time to time, and I had intentions to get the G10 version as well (I may still at some point) and perhaps get some micarta scales made up for it, but in the end I think I've come to the conclusion that the FRN is the ideal choice for this knife for me. In recent years I've gotten over my prior aversion to "plastic" handles/scales, and have particularly come to appreciate Spyderco FRN.

Great pics👍 I , too , have gotten past my disinclination toward “plastic” type handles. I have plenty of G10 , CF and titanium handled knives. But I’m just as satisfied with my FRN , Grivory and Noryl/GTX handles (especially when you consider the price). And I love them all.
