Dragonfly clip question

My sister likes to carry a slim knife in her pocket and does not like clips. I think a Dragonfly would be perfect for her IF the clip is removable.
So, is the pocket clip on the dragonfly removable?
Thanks

Hi Bill,

Consider instead getting a Spyderco Byrd Robin. It is more or less (okay, purists would say less) the same knife as the Dragonfly in basic design, but the clip is removable. I say this because I have a Robin; just got it a week ago and it is now my edc. I removed the clip, and it is as a result very slim and pocket friendly. It is also, to me, also more hand-friendly. I have the SS plain edge; it also comes in FRN and G-10 handles, both of which are lighter than the SS.

The clip on the FRN Dragonfly is not removable, the one on the all stainless version is.

Thanks guys, and for the tip on the Byrd Robin. I'll check it out.

Well, actually it is removable, but you'll probably have quite a bit of trouble if you ever want to re-attach it!;) Just slice it off with a thin saw blade and take a bit of sand paper to it to smooth it out. If all she's ever experienced has been metal clips she might like the molded one on the Dragonfly. It feels quite a bit more comfortable in the hand than most of the metal ones I've handled.
