Dragonfly variations?

Sal,
When we brought up a thread just a couple of weeks ago about small knives, some of us started expressing our love for the Dragonfly model (again!) and how we hoped for different variations of the knife, myself included. You mentioned the most likely candidate for a new variation would be Titanium. Is it possible we might see that knife, at least as a limited offering through the Spydie factory outlet? Also, what's the status of the Co-Pilot re-design project? Could we see a colored G-10 Co-Pilot or Dragonfly in the future? I'm picturing a white G-10 Dragonfly with ATS-55 for the blade. Oh baby...hehe.

Honey, I swear that's the last knife I'm going to buy...

Chad - the only conversation about the concept of Dragofly variations occurred here on the forum. I hven't spoken with R&D, Sales or Purchasing. We're trying to reduce and focus and additional variations at this time complicate the business side.

However, with information gained here, We can make up prototypes and show them at Key Shows for reactions.

The Dragonfly is one of our more popular models. Even the Stainless variation surprized us with demand. The carbon fiber version didn't do well...we think because of price. The knife is excellent and I travel all over the world with one. Titanium would be as expensive as carbon fiber. The FRN version is pretty hard to beat, so variations would be more for the enthusiast. There price is often a factor.

At this time, all I can do is chat about the possibilities and gather information as to what would be desired or appreciated. Keeping in mind that we all desire Ferraris but few are actually purchased.

Almite Dragonfly. That's the ticket. Lighter than stainless, classier than FRN, and cheaper than Ti. And colors!
