Drakm accepted money and hasn't delivered

I never thought that this would happen to me and I don't want to start one of these threads, but I am at the end of my rope. I asked Drakm to make a knife in may after seeing a for sale thread that he had posted. He accepted my order and promised to send a picture when it was done. He then contacted me at the end of June and said that the knife was completed. He said that he would send the pic in a couple of days because he was away from home. I sent the paypal in good faith for 350.00. Over the next few weeks he had several excuses as to why he hadn't sent a picture, but insisted the knife had been sent.

At the beginning of August, Milan contacted me and said that the transport company had informed him that the package had been damaged. He was going to claim the insurance and refund my money. This was right before the 45 days had elapsed for the paypal dispute. I, again in good faith, gave him some time to return the money. I have received nothing but excuses. Now the 45 days have elapsed and paypal won't refund the money.

update-The money has been refunded.

Did you pay with a credit card? If so, you can get a chargeback from them. Much longer time to file, usually 6 months.
 
No credit card unfortunately. It was a Paypal linked to my bank account. I don't know what the bank can do. I'll have to contact them on monday
 
Definitely try that. My bank was able to recover a payment for me in the past. Cost me $30, but it was well worth that.

Actually, on the back of your debit card you can call the 1-800 number and get the ball rolling right about now.
 
DrakM contacted me today and has made a refund to my paypal account. I am sorry that this had to come to this, but I feel as though I got jerked around somewhat. Thank you DrakM for refunding my money.
 
I would like to take this comment. The knife was from me sent, after some time I got a letter stating that the knife was lost during shipment or defective and I paid insurance. As soon as I learned about this so I informed the buyer and promised compensation.
I deal the reconstruction of Viking life and during the summer Festival We have a lot on which we drive, we demonstrate crafts and sell goods. During the summer I am therefore very often at home.
Paypal only used due to the sale of this forum, I do not there than the usual money and to be honest not understand much PayPal, and due to my weak English. When forwarding money to my paypal ever occurred error. Unfortunately I did not have to go around and gone I could do something about it. Vikings namely internet did not know :-) As soon as I got home I started to address this problem and the money was immediately returned. For the delay sorry it's my fault and I do not know how I could bear. So I hope that this problem is already ended. Thank you all
