Dream sodbuster blade

Drop point. "a tad longer" but a lot wider ;-)

I don't dream, I do...

I like the point more in line with the center of the blade for piecing slice cuts like shown...

I've recently become a fan of the sodbuster and have purchased 2 Case(1 large and 1 small) and a GEC. Love them both, but I wish GEC would make a larger version more a kin to the large Case. As far as blade shape.., I prefer the wider Case style blade, but definitely prefer the D2 steel that GEC uses.

LEOGREG, I like the looks of that A.G. Russell! I'm typically a fan of wider blades, so I may have to pick one of those up and give it a shot!

I can see where the drop point would be an attractive option, but would it still be a sodbuster? A soddie jr. in cv is my favorite.

See what happens when I don't check in for a few days?

I like the dropped point sodbuster idea. Best of both worlds. There are lots of great pictures and ideas in here guys, thank you for that.

This is my favorite Sodbuster, a Case Sod Jr.with a custom Cypress stump handle and some vine firework to boot.
Made for me by a dear friend. One of the lightest knives i own.
