Always wanted a cold steel code 4 and now that they got the xhp I may just pick one up. I was thinking it'd be cool to do some kind of design into the handle for added grip and just...well because it'd look cool. I tried looking for photos to see if anyone else has done this but couldn't find any...anyone ever dremel out a design on aluminum knife scales? Any tips? I need to buy a dremel also. Never used one :/

All 3 blade styles (in cts-xhp) are reasonably high on my list at the moment. But I really want all 3 at once, as a "set" of sorts, since all 3 could be had for the price of one other high end blade, and I would love to own something in cts-xhp;

Those pics just bumped 'em up a notch... Ideas ideas ideas...

I would also practice on knives that you don't care about first. I have accomplished my goals: adding jimping, grinding sharp thumbstuds down to resemble the Blur's, but I have also ruined their resale value, due to sloppy work. You need to practice a lot, or be naturally good at this type of custom work. I think inhaling dust with metal or plastic particles would be a bad thing. You need to get a real particulate mask that fits you properly.
