Once in a while I get tired of working on orders and putter with something of my own. This one got a tapered tang, dovetail fit on the bolster and a "bark on" buffalo horn handle.

3/16 inch 1095
Mirror finish (this is the first time I have tried this)
Flat ground
Buffalo horn handle with red spacers
Overall length: 8 1/4 inches
Blade4 3/8 inches
Hand sewn leather scabbard

$170 ----SOLD----(US funds) shipped to the US or Canada. My Pay Pal account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com I will also take a money order or a check with time to clear.

Damn Gerry. Thats a great design.

Hey guys, I got to hold this knife today, and it looks even better in person! My next knife from Gerry will be a Green River.

Very nice.

You don't often do a flat grind - do you?

I find flat grinds to be a little difficult. I learned to make knives by hollow grinding and can almost do that second nature. Working on flat grinding I have to really pay attention and not have had more than three cups of coffee. But, that's the nice thing about this hobby, there is always something more to learn.

 Ahhh....I keep staring at this blade...temptation, temptation, temptation.

B-E-A-utifil!

Wow.
