Dressed up Needs Work

Bought a Needs Work few weeks ago. Love the knife, AO is fast and hard. Blade shape and handle work well for me. The only thing I did not like was the handle material and the tip down only carry.

So I made some custom scales out of Black/Blue G10 and installed a new clip for tip up carry. What do you think? It could of come out better and the different colors in the scales don't show up in the scanned image as well as real life. The AO is still fast and hard. I'm pleased.

Thanks Tim, I will. This is making a regular appearance in my EDC rotation. The Needs Work is a great knife as is. I have convinced a few friends to buy one. However, i'm very pleased with this mod of mine. Just makes it a bit more personal. BTW I'm a huge fan of your work.
 
That is some awesome work you did there! If Kershaw made it that way I'd have at least a couple more.
 
Great job. The handles are pretty much the only thing I didn't like about that little knife. Love the blade a lot though. For some reason that little one reminded me of a more conventional Dodo.
