In your opinion what is the most Purtie knife out there for dressin up ?? I'm asking about production not custom

I like the William Henry knifes. I like the benchmade gents folders especially the Pardue with (forget model number) with Ivory Micarta scales and rainbow anadized bolster.

Though not in the same class or price range as the William Henry knives the Buck 532 LE2000s with BG-42 blades are also excellent, dressy and worthy of consideration.

The WH definitely is my first choice, followed closely by the Viele by Spyderco and the Jess Horn Spydie in white micarta sold by AGRussell.

My wharncliffe with black palm scales will not be here for at least a week. You just have to keep reminding me..lol.:( ;) :p

I always thought the Viele by Spyderco was so very schnazzy and dressy looking. Very dressy withiut being flashy or gawdy. I never could find one with a decent lock, tho. I wonder if they ever got that fixed inhouse?

I have the serrated Spydie Viele. The lock on mine is absolutely perfect and it is as smooth as any other knife I have ever owned, including my MT Kestral. I had forgotten I had that one  Guess I'll have to open all the boxes this weekend and play with some steel :D

Any SS Spyderco, but the best would be the Spyderco Wegner Mouse. It has VG-10 Steel and is small enough to be used as a money clip.

I'd have to agree that A.G. Russell makes/carries some very fine dress-up knives. I would really enjoy a William Henry, and I used to have a Benchmade 850 plain with Pearl handles instead of the ivory Micarta. That was beautiful:rolleyes: I wish I hadn't of gotten rid of it. :(

I also like the Lum Chinese folder, and the blue 940 by Benchmade. Still gotta get those...

The Knife House Hara and Whitewing lines are my favorite dress production knives. There were also some really nice custom collabs coming from the Seki City knife folks at Blade.

I would have to say the MT LCC takes the cake for dressy knives. I have seen some pics that stiffed my head.

Microtech all the way. :p
