Dressing small game with big blades (graphic)

Nice tutorial. Thanks for sharing. I have been in a few hunting camps were people look at me kind of funny when I pull out a big nice to process game with. I guess I am just used to it. They always seem to come around when I can chop with my skinning knife and most of the time they end up asking to borrow my knife before they are finished with their skinning job.

Great work. It is always good to know how to clean game with something a bit bigger than what you are used to.

The way I think of it…… when it comes to processing animals you can use just one knife or many, each will have a set of tasks that it excels at but won't work best for everything. It's sure nice having a set of knives to choose from to get a large variety of chores done with… ;)

Great tutorial and great pics. Thanks for posting. I've always used smaller knives when cleaning game in the past. I no longer hunt, but if I ever do again I'll try my TGLB to process the game. It is my favorite knife now, and has been since I got it.:D

Bladeforums has and continues to teach me much. :)

Love the step by step.

Forgive my noobish question, but are there any steps between what is shown here and marinating and cooking? Does the meat need to be rinsed or cleaned in any other way?

Yes, I do actually know absolutely nothing.... lol
