Drifting the bubble to raise the grind lines.

I'll admit it, I cheat. If the grind lines need moved up toward the spine a little I let the bubble drift off center from zero instead of going to the trouble of resetting the angle.
Here are a few pics of the bubble that correspond to these small changes of angle.

There will be a couple of new videos over the next week; one will be on sharpening the other will be on distal taper and free hand machining.
 
Good info. Would making extra marks on the glass where the bubble lives be a good idea? (per 1/2 degree like you've shown)
