Drill Doctor

I agree with what Ed said.

I like to use mine to sharpen bits up before drilling things like ivory to avoid burning the holes and such.

Mine paid for itself the first day I used it.

I figured out how to sharpen bits free-hand....but the Drill Dr. is so much easier and it will sharpen any bits that I own.

I'm convinced. Just bought the 750 with all the trimmings. It seems there are certain gadgets in knifemaking that people want but aren't really that practical. Then there are those that people skimp on when they should be buying them. I imagine the time, effort, waste, to say nothing of precious materials like ivory, I will save will be well worth it.
